Basketball Game Preview: Quinton Savages vs. Kiowa Cowboys

The Quinton Savages will head out to face off against the Kiowa Cowboys at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Quinton will be coming into the match with an undefeated record on the line.

Last Thursday, everything went Quinton's way against Marlow as Quinton made off with a 60-34 win. The Savages have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three contests by 26 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Kiowa had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 18.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They secured a 51-45 W over the Lumberjax. Given the Cowboys' advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 26th, while the Lumberjax are ranked 90th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Quinton's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Kiowa, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season.

Everything came up roses for Quinton against Kiowa in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, as the squad secured a 58-23 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Quinton since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
