Volleyball Recap: Academy for Innovative Education Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Academy for Innovative Education was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Sheridan Hills Christian Sharks, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Sharks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in August.

Academy for Innovative Education was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-23, 25-9.

Academy for Innovative Education's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Sheridan Hills Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Academy for Innovative Education will take on Miami Springs at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Sheridan Hills Christian, they will welcome South Florida HEAT at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
