Brighton and Olympus are an even 5-5 against one another since September of 2017, but not for long. The Bengals will welcome the Titans at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
Brighton is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Viewmont, posting a 42-14 win. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 35-0.

Staton Gutierrez produced another solid performance rushing for 204 yards and five scores while picking up 10.2 yards per carry. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 110 rushing yards per game. Jayce Evans also helped out with an impressive 88 receiving yards.
Brighton's run defense was locked in: Viewmont could only muster three yards per carry. While nine picked up at least three total tackles, Trey Harper stood above the rest. He made three total tackles and defended two passes in addition to snagging two interceptions. Brighton's run defense has been on the up-and-up: they allowed five yards per carry earlier this season, but they've only allowed 5.83 on average over their last five games.
Brighton didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. Harper led the group effort, picking up two of those interceptions all by himself. He is also on a roll when it comes to defended passes, as he's now defended at least one in each of the last four games he's played.
Meanwhile, Alta kept up with Olympus until halftime on Friday, but afterwards: not so much. The Titans put the hurt on the Hawks with a sharp 45-22 victory. The win continues a trend for the Titans in their matchups with the Hawks: they've now won four in a row.
Brighton better keep an eye on Beckham Allred. He was instrumental in Olympus' win, rushing for 141 yards and a pair of TDs. Those 141 rushing yards gave Allred a new career-high.
The victory got Olympus back to even at 3-3. As for Brighton, the win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 2-4.
Brighton came out on top in a nail-biter against Olympus in their previous meeting back in November of 2024, sneaking past 17-14. Do the Bengals have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Titans turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
