Volleyball Recap: Kamryn Hubbell's Big Game Can't Quite Lead West Valley over Liberty

West Valley lost against Liberty back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Mustangs fell just short of the Bison by a score of 2-1. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, West Valley sadly wound up on the wrong side. The final score came out to 27-25, 22-25, 15-11.

Several Mustangs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kamryn Hubbell, who had ten kills and ten digs. Hubbell is crushing it when it comes to kills: she's had at least five every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Sheiann Rosales, who had 13 digs and two aces.

West Valley now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Liberty, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

West Valley has already played their next contest, a 1-0 win against Woodcrest Christian on the 9th. As for Liberty, they will welcome Hemet at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
