Baseball Game Preview: Surry Central Golden Eagles vs. North Wilkes Vikings

Surry Central is a perfect 7-0 against North Wilkes since March of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Golden Eagles will host the Vikings at 7:15 p.m. Surry Central will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each matchup than the last.

Surry Central had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 16-run drubbing they dealt North Wilkes on Monday. The Golden Eagles never let the Vikings get on the board and left with a 16-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Golden Eagles, who have now won nine contests by eight runs or more so far this season.
