Basketball Game Preview: De La Salle Meteors vs. Marist RedHawks

The De La Salle Meteors will venture away from home to square off against the Marist RedHawks at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: De La Salle has struggled recently with four losses in a row, while Marist will arrive with 15 straight wins.

De La Salle came up short against Loyola Academy on Friday, falling 60-37.

Meanwhile, Marist blew past Joliet Catholic, posting an 82-40 victory. The RedHawks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 17 games by 20 points or more this season.

Marist pushed their record up to 27-2 with the win, which was their 25th straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.0 points over those games. As for De La Salle, they now have a losing record of 14-15.
