Beaumont had to endure an 11-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Redlands Terriers a 2-0 shutout on Tuesday. This was a revenge game for the Cougars: when they faced off against the Terriers back in April, they had to take a 4-3 defeat.

Not much got past Alex Diaz, who gave up just three hits to keep Redlands off the board.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Adam Nelson, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and one double. Johnnie Gill was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one double and one RBI.

Beaumont picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 3-20. As for Redlands, their loss was their seventh straight at home, which dropped their record down to 8-15.

As of now, neither Beaumont nor the Terriers have any future games scheduled.
