Bartow waltzed into their matchup on Friday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Hillsborough Terriers. While the Yellow Jackets didn't have the best season last year (they finished 8-13), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Madison Meeks paced Bartow's offense, picking up six kills. Meeks got some help from Adisyn Pokorowski and her nine assists. Brooke Haygood controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Bartow's victory bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Hillsborough, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season.

Bartow didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Central on the 12th. As for Hillsborough, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Frostproof on the 12th.
