Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Cosby). They blew past the Midlothian Trojans 73-41 on Thursday. Given the Titans' advantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 39th, while the Trojans are ranked 287th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Cosby pushed their record up to 13-4 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.9 points per game. As for Midlothian, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-14 record this season.

Cosby has already played their next game (against Richmond City School of the Arts), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Midlothian will square off against James River Midlothian at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
