Volleyball Recap: Manti Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Manti can now relate to. They fell just short of the Carbon Dinos by a score of 2-1 on Monday. The Templars have struggled against the Dinos recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Addison Howell paced Manti's offense, picking up seven kills. Howell got some help from Charlotte Chase and her nine assists. Howell was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Carbon to victory, but perhaps none more so than Player #32, who had nine digs and two assists.

Manti's loss dropped their record down to 8-19. As for Carbon, their win bumped their record up to 7-22.

Manti does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Carbon, they have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Juab on the 28th.
