Baseball Recap: L'Anse Creuse Comes Up Short

L'Anse Creuse was the 6-1 winner over Port Huron when they last played one another on Monday, but their luck changed this time around. The Lancers lost 11-3 to the Big Reds on Tuesday.

Ethan Blenc made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base and one run. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played. Logan Kurtz also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

L'Anse Creuse's defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Port Huron, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-4.

While L'Anse Creuse had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
