Basketball Game Preview: Drew Dragons vs. Gateway Gators

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 72-42, which was the final score in Drew's tilt against International on Wednesday. The loss continues a trend for the Dragons in their matchups with the Jaguars: they've now lost six in a row.

Meanwhile, Gateway entered their tilt with Jewish Community on Wednesday with seven consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with eight. They blew past the Wolves 70-35. The Gators have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 21 points or more this season.

Gateway has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.8 points per game. As for Drew, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-12.
