Kellam and Midlothian squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Kellam had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Trojans by a score of 4-3. The Knights' loss signaled the end of their 15-game winning streak.

Kellam's defeat dropped their record down to 25-2. As for Midlothian, the win keeps they at an undefeated 23-0.

Kellam does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Midlothian, they will square off against Godwin at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Trojans' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Eagles have averaged an impressive 10.2 runs per game this season.
