Baseball Recap: Flathead Comes Up Short

Flathead lost to Big Sky back in March and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Braves came up short against the Eagles, falling 11-5.

Flathead's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Big Sky, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-1.

Coming up, Flathead will face off against Bigfork at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Vikings and Valkyries have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.33 runs per game on average), something the Braves will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Big Sky, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Butte at 5:00 p.m.
