Football Recap: Triangle Math & Science Tigers vs. Union Academy Cardinals
Triangle Math & Science kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They were beaten by the Union Academy Cardinals 63-0.
JT Hemphill was a one-man wrecking crew for Union Academy as he rushed for 160 yards on only ten carries. Jaequan Timmons made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.
Union Academy now has a winning record of 2-1.
Triangle Math & Science will look to take advantage of their home-field for the first time this season as they take on Highland Tech at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Union Academy, they are headed away from home for the first time to take on Bessemer City at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
