Baseball Recap: Omaha Central Comes Up Short

Omaha Central lost against Omaha North back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Eagles took a 4-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Vikings.

Omaha Central saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Joe Dougherty, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Omaha Central's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Omaha North, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season.

Omaha Central didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 12-2 victory against Concordia/Brownell/Omaha Christian Academy on the 9th. As for Omaha North, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, an 11-1 loss against Blair on the 9th.
