Volleyball Recap: West Campus Warriors vs. River City Raiders
While West Campus's win against River City wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Warriors won by a set and slipped past the Raiders 3-2. The victory continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Raiders: they've now won eight in a row.
West Campus was actually outscored in aggregate across those five sets (100-99), but they still managed to win. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 21-25, 26-24, 12-25, 15-11.

West Campus can attribute much of their success to Joy Dieng, who had 17 digs. Those 17 digs gave Dieng a new career-high.
West Campus was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 11 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least nine aces every time they've taken the court this season.
Despite the loss, River City saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Jessica Criswell had 13 digs and four aces. Another player making a difference was Angie Mois, who had 11 digs and 11 assists.
West Campus' win bumped their record up to 3-1.
Coming up, West Campus will face off against Colfax at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for River City, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-2 defeat against McClatchy on the 28th.
