Evangelical Christian proved they can win big on Monday (they won by three) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the IMG Academy Black Ascenders 3-2. Winning may never get old, but the Sentinels sure are getting used to it with their seventh in a row.

Emma Blackwell paced Evangelical Christian's offense, picking up 18 kills. Blackwell got some help from Reese Pool and her 31 assists. Hannah Cote controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.
IMG Academy Black's loss came despite strong showings from Catalina Merhab Rivera and Willa Simmons. Merhab Rivera had 27 digs and four assists, while Simmons had 13 assists and ten digs. Merhab Rivera is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last five games she's played. Evangelical Christian's win bumped their record up to 16-6. As for IMG Academy Black, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9-1.
