Volleyball Recap: Faith Christian Academy Starts Season with Loss at Home

Faith Christian Academy unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of the Kingsway Christian Eagles by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. Faith Christian Academy was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Kingsway Christian apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

Faith Christian Academy started the match hot and won the first two sets, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 21-25, 13-25, 27-25, 25-16, 15-7.

The victory got Kingsway Christian back to even at 3-3.

Kingsway Christian has already played their next contest (against Grand Lake Christian), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Faith Christian Academy will be paying especially close attention to Kingsway Christian's match: after Kingsway Christian faces off against Wayside Christian, they'll take on Faith Christian Academy again at 6:00 p.m. on the 30th.
