Basketball Recap: Wickenburg Comes Up Short

Wickenburg was the 26-22 winner over North Valley Christian Academy when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Wickenburg Wranglers came up short against the North Valley Christian Academy Lions on Monday, falling 49-26.

North Valley Christian Academy found their leader in sophomore Triniti Terracciano, who went 9 for 21 en route to 25 points and six steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Terracciano has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Kalina Santor, who posted five points along with seven rebounds and four steals.

Wickenburg's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for North Valley Christian Academy, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-8.

Wickenburg has already played their next contest, a 49-31 loss against Kingman Academy on the 16th. As for North Valley Christian Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 51-26 win against Scottsdale Christian Academy on the 15th.
