Baseball Recap: South Mecklenburg Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for South Mecklenburg's offense. They fell 5-0 to the Ardrey Kell Knights on Friday. Considering the last time the Sabres couldn't score was back in February, the team can't take the result too hard.

South Mecklenburg saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Chase Bremer, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

South Mecklenburg's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 7-1 and their overall record down to 11-7. As for Ardrey Kell, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-6.
