Softball Recap: Sidney Comes Up Short

Sidney fell victim to Troy and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Trojans, falling 11-0. The Yellowjackets have struggled against the Trojans recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost meeting.

Sidney's defeat dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Troy, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 8-3.

Coming up, Troy will take on Harrison at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Sidney will be paying especially close attention to the Trojans' matchup: after the Trojans face off against Bradford, they'll take on Sidney again at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
