A-6 Southeast (6 Man) recap October 22, 2013

Liberty/Stratton extended the longest winning streak in A-6 Southeast (6 Man) this week by beating Deer Trail, 65-6. The win marks eighth in a row for the the Eagles.

Liberty/Stratton took down the Eagles 65-6 last week, the largest margin of any game. Kyle English ran for 124 yards and caught 1 pass for 36 yards in the win.

Eads's dynamic duo of Tyler Rouse and Dylan Dixon proved to be unstoppable against Primero, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Rouse threw for 138 yards and 2 touchdowns and Dixon had 80 yards receiving. Nate Dorow helped Eads' passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 48 yards.

Caine Farmer was a passing and rushing force as Kit Carson beat Flagler. Farmer's favorite target this week was Jaxon Crawford, who caught 3 passes for 57 yards.

Wyatt Witt made the biggest impact on defense this week as the Panthers lost to the Wildcats. The 6-foot-1 junior racked up 2 sacks.

5-foot-8 quarterback David Mettee of Deer Trail is the league leader in passing yards this season with 804. He has also thrown 9 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is Crawford. The Kit Carson star has 32 catches for 450 yards.

English has rushed for 967 yards on 64 carries so far this year.

Toby Kechter's team led the league in scoring this week after putting up 65 points on Josh Hammer's team. English ran for 124 yards and caught 1 pass for 36 yards during the win.
