Football Recap: Snowflake Skates Past Poston Butte with Ease + How To Watch

Snowflake put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They breezed past the Poston Butte Broncos to the tune of 41-0. The result was nothing new for the Lobos, who have now won four games by 20 points or more so far this season.

Leading Snowflake to victory were Jacob LaDuke and Brenner Green. LaDuke threw for 239 yards and four TDs on only 14 passes, while Green gained 98 total yards and two touchdowns. Gionn Jones did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 88 receiving yards.

Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Snowflake proved: they limited Poston Butte to a paltry 3.2 yards per carry. The Lobos' run defense has been on the up-and-up: they allowed 3.5 yards per carry earlier this season, but they've only allowed 7.8 on average over their last five games.

Snowflake's record is now 6-0. As for Poston Butte, they dropped their record down to 0-6 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Snowflake will host Combs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Coyotes' defense has only allowed 6.2 points per game this season, so the Lobos' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Poston Butte, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Eastmark at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Broncos will need to watch out since the Firebirds have now posted at least 31 points in their last three matchups.
