Basketball Recap: Southampton Picks Up 19th Straight Win at Home

Southampton came tearing into Thursday's match with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 43.5 points) and they left with even more momentum. They claimed a resounding 92-49 victory over the Mattituck Tuckers. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 47-26.

Alex Franklin was his usual excellent self, putting up 31 points along with seven rebounds and six assists. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points. Sae'Vion Ward was another key player, earning 11 points.
