Big Bear moved up to 379 from 457 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in De Anza. Big Bear climbed the ranks as a result of besting Ontario Christian 49-0.
Adding to the longest winning streak in the league this week, Dave Griffiths' team beat the Knights 49-0. The win marks sixth in a row for the Big Bear.
Twentynine Palms's dynamic duo of Jake Culver and Darren Murphy proved tough for St. Margaret's to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Culver threw for 130 yards and 1 touchdown and Murphy had 57 yards receiving. Talo Wilson helped Twentynine Palms' passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 38 yards.
Yucca Valley's Bradley Soares and Logan Vallo have formed a dream team this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. 5-7 quarterback Soares has thrown for 1,522 yards this season, while Vallo has 37 catches for 637 yards. Desert Hot Springs's T Armstrong leads the league in rushing yards with 1,111.
Big Bear took down Ontario Christian 49-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
