Softball Recap: Steele Comets vs. Midview Middies
Steele proved they can win big last Thursday (they won by eight) but on Wednesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past the Midview Middies 9-7. That's more bragging rights for Steele, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
Makenna Dorobek was incredible, going 4-for-4 with a home run, two runs, and two doubles. Nevaeh Sadler was another key contributor, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3.
Steele's win bumped their record up to 2-0.
Steele will head out on the road to challenge Berea-Midpark at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for Midview, they will be playing at home against Avon Lake at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The last three games Midview has played (dating back to last season) have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
