Kewanee has gone a perfect 4-0 against Mendota recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Boilermakers will take on the Trojans at 7:00 p.m. Kewanee comes in still looking for their first win of the season.

Kewanee managed to slip by Hall the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Boilermakers had to suffer through a 44-0 loss at the hands of the Red Devils. The matchup marked the first time this year in which the Boilermakers were not able to get on the board.

Meanwhile, the third road contest was the charm for Mendota, as they earned their first away win of the season. They secured a 14-10 W over Sherrard on Friday.

Kewanee better keep an eye on Corbin Furar. He was instrumental in Mendota's win, rushing for 61 yards and two touchdowns.

Mendota's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Kewanee, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-5.

Everything came up roses for Kewanee against Mendota in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 49-19 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Boilermakers since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
