Basketball Recap: Madison-Grant Argylls vs. Taylor Titans
Madison-Grant was the 64-49 winner over Taylor when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Madison-Grant Argylls fell to the Taylor Titans 47-41. The Argylls have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, Madison-Grant saw an underclassman step up: freshman Grace Wood went 8 for 19 on her way to 22 points and six boards. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Wood has scored all season. Madalee Holloway was another key player, putting up six points in addition to six rebounds and four steals.
Jallainah Harris continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Taylor, dropping a double-double on 27 points and ten boards. Harris has been hot recently, having also posted five or more steals the last four times she's played.
Madison-Grant's defeat dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Taylor, their win ended a 16-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-15.
Madison-Grant will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Frankton at 7:30 p.m. As for Taylor, they will head out on the road to square off against Clinton Central at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Clinton Central will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Taylor surely won't give up without a fight.
