Basketball Game Preview: Cuero Gobblers vs. Boling Bulldogs

Cuero is on a three-game streak of home wins (dating back to last season), while Boling is on a five-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Cuero Gobblers will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on the Boling Bulldogs at 12:30 p.m. on Monday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Cuero saw some tournament action on Saturday. They lost 65-41 to Sealy.

Meanwhile, Boling came up short against Rice Consolidated on Saturday and fell 62-55.

Boling's defeat dropped their record down to 12-3. As for Cuero, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.

Everything came up roses for Cuero against Boling in their previous matchup back in December of 2019, as the team secured a 68-38 win. Does Cuero have another victory up their sleeve, or will Boling turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
