Soccer Recap: Delaware Academy Takes a Loss

Delaware Academy lost against Bainbridge-Guilford back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Bulldogs came up short against the Bobcats, falling 7-1. While losing is never fun, Delaware Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York soccer rankings (they are ranked 214th, while Bainbridge-Guilford are ranked 44th).

This is the second loss in a row for Delaware Academy and nudges their season record down to 8-7. As for Bainbridge-Guilford, their win bumped their record up to 13-1.

Delaware Academy has already played their next match (against Sidney), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Bainbridge-Guilford, they will take on Oxford Academy at 3:15 p.m. on Saturday. Oxford Academy will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Bainbridge-Guilford surely won't give up without a fight.
