Baseball Recap: Montgomery Central Takes a Loss

Montgomery Central lost against Southwestern Randolph back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Timberwolves fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 5-4. The Timberwolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Montgomery Central's loss dropped their record down to 7-13. As for Southwestern Randolph, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-12.

Looking ahead, Montgomery Central will challenge Union Pines at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Southwestern Randolph, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 13-2 defeat against Wheatmore on the 23rd.
