Soccer Recap: Cypress Creek Comes Up Short

Cypress Creek was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Jersey Village Falcons. The match was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but the Cougars couldn't quite close it out.

Cypress Creek's loss dropped their record down to 6-16-1. As for Jersey Village, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-12-1.

As of now, neither Cypress Creek nor Jersey Village have any future games scheduled.
