Volleyball Recap: Westville Takes a Loss

Westville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Washington Township Senators. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Senators this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on April 2nd.

Tyler Massengill paced Westville's offense, picking up four kills. Massengill got some help from Wyatt Oberle and his seven assists.

Westville's defeat dropped their record down to 7-17. As for Washington Township, the win was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-2.

Westville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Washington Township, they will face off against Kouts at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Mustangs & Fillies will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something the Senators surely won't give up without a fight.
