Basketball Recap: Lake Ridge Academy's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Lake Ridge Academy came into Saturday's matchup having lost nine straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They walked away with a 55-43 win over the Temple Christian Crusaders on Saturday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Royals also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2024.

Lake Ridge Academy's victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-10. As for Temple Christian, they are on an 18-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lake Ridge Academy will welcome Grand River Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Lake Ridge Academy is facing Grand River Academy at the right time seeing as Grand River Academy is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Temple Christian, they will take on St. Peter's at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
