Soccer Recap: Muskogee Wins Going Away Against Harding Academy

Muskogee saw some tournament action on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Harding Academy Lions with a sharp 5-2 victory. Given Muskogee's advantage in MaxPreps' soccer rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 64th in Oklahoma, while Harding Academy are ranked 231st in Tennessee) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

The win made it two in a row for Muskogee and bumps their season record up to 5-5-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 11 goals over those two matches. As for Harding Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-7-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Muskogee will take on Bartlesville at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Harding Academy, they will face off against Trinity Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Harding Academy will be up against Trinity Christian Academy's rather soft defense (which has allowed three goals per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
