Football Recap: Innovation Starts off Right with Win over Liberty

Innovation took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Friday. They took their contest with ease, bagging a 42-12 victory over the Liberty Chargers. The Bulls' offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Innovation to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kaleb Bielski, who threw for 212 yards and four TDs while completing 90.9% of his passes. Those 212 passing yards gave Bielski a new career-high. Pearce Dendy was in the mix too, providing Innovation with two touchdowns.

Coincidentally, Innovation and Liberty will both be playing Oak Ridge the next time they take the field. The Bulls will head out to face the Pioneers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Chargers will host them at 7:00 p.m. on the 5th.
