Soccer Recap: Albemarle School Takes a Loss

Albemarle School lost against Holmes back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Colts lost 8-2 to the Aces. Albemarle School were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 4-0.

Javonte Borg and Carter Cauley scored both of Albemarle School's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 13 goals.

This is the second loss in a row for Albemarle School and nudges their season record down to 2-2. As for Holmes, they pushed their record up to 4-2 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Coming up, Albemarle School will welcome Perquimans at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Holmes, they will venture away from home to challenge Northeastern at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
