The Argyle Scots lost against the Granville Golden Horde back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Argyle fell 64-51 to Granville.

Granville's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from William Jennings, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 11 rebounds. Liam Farrell was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.

Argyle's loss dropped their record down to 8-3. As for Granville, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-3.

Argyle won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Hartford Central at 3:30 p.m. on January 20th. Hartford Central will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps New York Rankings (they are ranked 630th, while Argyle is ranked 298th). As for Granville, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Fort Ann at 7:00 p.m.
