Softball Recap: Evergreen Takes a Loss

Evergreen was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 5-2 to the Wauseon Indians. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Vikings of the 11-6 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Evergreen's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Wauseon, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-5.

Coincidentally, Evergreen and Wauseon will both be playing Patrick Henry the next time they take the field. The Indians will head out to face the Patriots at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Vikings will host them at 5:00 p.m. on the 24th.
