Volleyball Recap: Lyle/Pacelli Beats Clarksville for Their Fourth Straight Victory

Lyle/Pacelli had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Clarksville Indians. The Athletics have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Indians, too.

Lyle/Pacelli's offense was headlined by Jada Leif and Marlie Klankowski, who picked up five kills apiece. They got some help from Autumn Drennan and her 15 assists. She was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Lyle/Pacelli's win bumped their record up to 16-9. As for Clarksville, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-17.

Lyle/Pacelli has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Turkey Valley on the 11th. As for Clarksville, they will square off against West Fork at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
