Softball Recap: Hubbard Takes a Loss

Hubbard was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 13-7 to the Perry Panthers. That's two games in a row now that the Eagles have lost by exactly six runs.

Lauren Komorek was cooking despite her team's loss, firing off two home runs while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was Emalee Warren, who went 1-for-2 with one home run and two runs.

Hubbard's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Perry, with the victory, they broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-10.

Coming up, Hubbard will host Hickory at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Perry, they will square off against GlenOak at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
