Chewelah put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on the Reardan Screaming Eagles with a sharp 13-1 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 22-0 on Tuesday.

Nick Carlson was excellent, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two RBI and one run. Those hits were his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Josiah Whittekiend, who went 1-for-2 with two runs and two RBI.

Chewelah pushed their record up to 12-0 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Reardan, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-7.

Chewelah will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Screaming Eagles: the pair will be back at it again later today.
