Monacan has gone a perfect 10-0 against L.C. Bird recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Chiefs will be playing at home against the Skyhawks at 7:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Monacan has four straight victories, L.C. Bird has ten straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the pitch.

Monacan's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out Cosby 1-0. That's two games straight that Monacan have won by just one goal.

The home team had come away the winner the last six times L.C. Bird and Manchester had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Skyhawks lost 8-0 to the Lancers on Thursday. While losing is never fun, L.C. Bird can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia soccer rankings (they are ranked 286th, while Manchester are ranked 53rd).

The win got Monacan back to even at 6-6. As for L.C. Bird, their loss dropped their record down to 1-12.

Monacan got the 'W' in their previous matchup back in April against L.C. Bird by a conclusive 9-1 score. Will the Chiefs repeat their success, or do the Skyhawks have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
