Baseball Recap: Mathews Comes Up Short

Mathews was the 9-3 winner over Windham when they last played one another back in May of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Mustangs fell just short of the Bombers by a score of 7-6 on Monday. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mathews now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Windham, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-2.

Coming up, Mathews will head out on the road to challenge Bristol at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Windham, they will head out to take on Maplewood at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
