Basketball Game Preview: Bogota Buccaneers vs. Leonia Lions

The Bogota Buccaneers will take on the Leonia Lions in a holiday battle at at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Last Thursday, Bogota was beaten by Waldwick 64-31.

Meanwhile, Leonia might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting Park Ridge an easy 60-35 victory.

Bogota's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Leonia, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 0-2.

Bogota took a serious blow against Leonia when the teams last played back in January, falling 67-38. Can Bogota avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
