Football Recap: Harlan Comes Up Short on the Road Against Knott County Central

Harlan kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They took a blow against the Knott County Central Patriots, falling 50-0. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

Knott County Central got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Carson Hall out in front who threw for 84 yards and two touchdowns. Isaiah Wilkinson also helped with two TDs in total.

Harlan will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Morgan County at 7:30 p.m. on the 5th. As for Knott County Central, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 34-0 win against Jackson County on the 29th.
