Mason has gone a perfect 10-0 against Lakota East recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Comets will be playing at home against the Thunderhawks at 7:15 p.m. Mason is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.8 goals per game this season.

Mason's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over Lakota West.

Jake Dobrowski and Landon Miller scored both of Mason's goals, bringing their combined season tally to nine goals.

Meanwhile, Lakota East had just enough and edged out Loveland 1-0 on Monday. The win was all the more spectacular given Lakota East's disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked 253rd, while Loveland are ranked 51st).

Mason's victory bumped their record up to 9-0-2. As for Lakota East, their win ended a three-match drought on the road and puts them at 3-5-3.

Mason skirted past Lakota East 1-0 in their previous meeting back in September of 2024. Will the Comets repeat their success, or do the Thunderhawks have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
