Winton Woods won the last time they faced Turpin and things went their way on Friday too. The Warriors secured a 13-7 W over the Spartans. Given the Warriors' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio football rankings (they are ranked 22nd, while the Spartans are ranked 184th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The win made it two in a row for Winton Woods and bumps their season record up to 3-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 24 points in those games. As for Turpin, their loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 2-2.

Looking ahead, Winton Woods is taking a road trip to challenge Walnut Hills at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The Warriors are facing the Eagles at the right time seeing as the Eagles are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Turpin, they will welcome Loveland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
