League recap: Chelsea stuns Oklahoma Union in upset

The biggest upset of the week belonged to Oklahoma Union, who took down 213th ranked Oklahoma Union, 40-21.

Adair extended the longest winning streak in 2A District 7 this week by beating Chouteau-Mazie, 61-9. The win marks sixth in a row for the the Warriors.

Caney Valley's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Trojans feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Jared Ward has thrown for 831 yards and eight touchdowns this season, while Drake Hines has 13 catches for 246 yards. Ward also leads the league in rushing with 484 yards.

Two of the top units in the league will face off this week when Caney Valley takes on Nowata. The Trojans' offense has recorded 125 points this season, making them No. 1 in the league, while the Ironmen have permitted only 70 on the year.

A big matchup in 2A District 7 this week will be when Nowata takes on Caney Valley. As it stands, Matt Hagebusch's team is in third, while Anthony Fogle's team is in second.
